The Freshman Orientation will take place here at Becton Regional High School on August 19th and located 120 Paterson Ave., East Rutherford, NJ.  Please park and enter through the back of the school building (via Wildcat Way).  You will enter through the Performing Arts Center doors (look for signs on the doors) and check-in with Becton staff.

Click HERE to access the Genesis Parent Portal. All parent(s)/guardian(s) recieve a Genesis registration email prior to the start of the school year. (within the last two weeks of August). If you did not recieve this email, or are having issues accesing Genesis, please contact our Main Office at (201) 935-3007. You must use the same email that you used to register your child. NOTE: The Becton Regional High School Genesis parent portal is seperate from any accounts used for your child/children from middle school.

Students will receieve their Becton email account when they pick-up their Chromebook. Students will be unable to access their Becton email until they recieve their Chromebook.

PaySchools is the platformed used to pay for your child/childrens annual $20 Chromebook fee and to load money into your child's lunch account. NOTE: If you used PaySchools for you child/childrens accounts in middle school, you CANNOT use the same account. You will have to register with a new email for your Becton Regional High School accounts. 

In order to receive their Chromebook, a students registration must be complete and their $35 Annual Chromebook fee must be paid. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) can pay the annual Chromebook fee with cash, a check or via PaySchools. Once these steps are complete, parent(s)/guardian(s) and/or students should attend their designated Chromebook Distribution Date - click HERE to access the Chromebook Distribution Schedule. In the event the parent(s)/guardian(s) and/or students cannot attend their distribution date, students will be called down to the main office the first two weeks of school to recieve their Chromebook. NOTE: Students will NOT be given their Chromebook is they attend a distribution date for a grade that is not their own.

The Minga App is a digital ID platform meant for school safety and engagement. ALL Becton students must use the Minga App for attendance, bus access, lunch payment and as an E-Hall Pass. All Becton students are required to download the Minga App on their Chromebook, and can only access their digital student ID by logging in with their Becton email. 

Students should ONLY use their Chromebook to access the Minga passes and not their phones.  All phones should remain in the cell phone pockets until the end of class.

We have two cafeterias on campus- our main cafeteria and our auxillary cafeteria (which is smaller and quieter). If weather permits, students may also eat on our Becton Patio.   Students can pay for lunch using their PaySchools Account in tandem with the Minga Digital ID on their phones.   Becton is also an open campus where students can eat lunch at local restaurants and return before the lunch period ends.
