Spanish National Honor Society

EVERY MOMENT IS AN ORGANIZING OPPORTUNITY, EVERY PERSON A POTENTIAL ACTIVIST, EVERY MINUTE A CHANCE TO CHANGE THE WORLD. DOLORES HUERTA

The Spanish National Honor Society or Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is a national organization founded in 1953 by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese whose goals are to recognize students who have achieved excellence in the study of Spanish as well as to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the Spanish culture and civilization. Members must meet specific requirements in order to be eligible for the Spanish Honor Society. New members are inducted in May of the current school year at a formal induction ceremony.
