Project Graduation

Project Graduation is an event to ensure a safe, alcohol and drug free celebration. This event is held immediately following the graduation ceremony at a secret location and continues through the night until early the next morning. This event is filled with planned activities, food, entertainment, music and much more. It is offered to all Becton graduates.

WHO PLANS PROJECT GRADUATION?

Project Graduation is not a school planned event, nor is it funded by Becton Regional High School. It is strictly planned by the Project Graduation Committee which is made up of parents of the senior class. Project Graduation is funded by parents and students through fundraising. This night costs approximately $400 per participant. This is a huge endeavor that requires everyone’s participation.

HOW DO I LEARN MORE ABOUT FUNDRAISERS?

There will be many fundraising events held throughout the school year. We will communicate with the students in school and will send emails home. Events will be posted on Becton’s website under Project Graduation. If you provide us with your information, we will send email updates to you as well.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF SENIORS TO PARTICIPATE?

First, they must choose whether they will participate in Project Graduation. If they decide to participate, they will have the choice of paying $400 OR paying $75 AND participating in no less than five fundraisers. All seniors are expected to sell tickets to events and raffles, no matter what they choose to pay.
