New Credit Options & Information
Math Course Advancement
Request for an online learning program for new credit must be obtained by June 14th.
Students who wish to take a summer school advancement course must complete this registration form.
Students may take a summer math course for new credit at one of these approved providers:
Bergen Community College
Leonia Smile program
NJCTL (teacher facilitated online program only)
Summer advancement courses will not be included in the ranking process. The course will appear on the student’s transcript with the numerical grade and the location of where the course was taken. Credits will count toward graduation requirements but WILL NOT be included in GPA & class rank. Any costs incurred as a result of an option two program will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian. The Board of Education will not assume any responsibility for any fees associated with this program.
The district may opt to utilize a performance or competency assessment for final approval of student completion, aimed at meeting or exceeding the NJ Student Learning Standards. Grade 9, 10, 11 students may use this math course to meet prerequisites for advanced courses in math.
Online Course/Virtual Learning Program

Students who wish to take a summer school advancement course must complete this registration form.
Becton Regional High School students have an option for earning new course credit via online courses / virtual learning experiences from an accredited college/university or approved NJ content area certified teacher. Students may receive credit in courses approved by department supervisors in elective courses not offered at the high school, or to fulfill their Financial Literacy requirement.

The Virtual High School (VHC, inc)
NJCTL
